Glasstech Asia 2005

The participation in the Glasstech Asia Fair in Bangkok from 30 November to 2 December 2005 has been a success for the Pneumofore vacuum pumps promotion in the Asian market for both hollow glass production and vacuum coating of flat glass. Thailand offers a mild climate in December and we see it as a balancing happening to the consolidated Glasstec Fair in northern Germany, Düsseldorf, usually end October or November of the previous and following year. The number of UV pumps references in Asia has increased, the direct contact with partners and end users is growing in importance.

Regarding collaborations, Pneumofore had the opportunity to visit the newly set-up offices of IMVT, our local distributor for Thailand and neighbour countries. The fair resulted in several interested Thai glass factories like Ocean Glass, Lucky Glass, Bangkok Glass and more who are now evaluating the quoted solutions of UV vacuum systems linked to considerable power consumption savings and total elimination of cooling water. It is our intention to participate to the next edition and to boost our UV references in the area!
