The Meeting took place in Turin and it was attended by 16 different nations coming from every corner of the Planet. The event offered the opportunity to retrace the historic background of the company, its evolution through the decades and the international expansion under the guidance of the present generation of Swiss engineers. Projected into the future, the company also presented its plan for the years to come, with a renewed enthusiasm and with significant investments in training the next generation.
The event was also a great networking opportunity to further strengthen the collaboration between Pneumofore and its international partners, which strongly contribute to the company’s global success. Obviously, the meeting was also an occasion to taste the excellent Italian cuisine and wines and to walk in the ambient streets of Turin and Rivoli during a sunny and warm weekend.

As part of the celebrations for its 100th Year Anniversary, Pneumofore organized a special Open Day held at the company’s headquarters in Rivoli on September 2nd, 2023. The event welcomed all the employees and their families in a festive atmosphere and it gave the opportunity to highlight the company’s remarkable history and to look towards the future with confidence. The 100 Year milestone was possible thanks to the commitment, talent and dedication of the both retired employees and the people who are working for Pneumofore, some of whom over decades. The Open Day was a tribute to this extraordinary journey.

Leveraging on 100 Years of expertise in technical innovation and excellence, Pneumofore was among the keynote speakers at Latamcan, the technical conference and exhibition for canmakers and suppliers operating in the Latin America metal packaging industry.
Held in Mexico City, the event is one of the major international conferences and tradeshows in the sector, growing in attendance and importance year after year. In 2023, marking the centenary celebration for Pneumofore, the CEO Mr. Rolf Hilfiker gave an insightful presentation on longevity’s rules and practices of design and manufacturing that maximize the machinery’s life expectancy. Since its foundation, the company’s actions are guided in respect of nature, producing machines that minimize the carbon footprint of industrial vacuum and compressed air systems. Nowadays, this strong commitment contrasts the widespread planned obsolescence. Pneumofore successfully reverts the strategy to durability over-time, which avoids the waste of money spent in buying equipment over and over and making a forward-looking management choice and significant contribution to the Planet.

Metpack, the world’s leading fair for the global metal packaging industry, celebrated Pneumofore in its 100 Year Anniversary. Held in Essen (Germany) from May 2 to 6, the event welcomed around 6,500 trade visitors, coming from all parts of the world, to experience forward-looking technology, new products and further developments for the production, refinement and recycling of metal packaging. With a strong focus on international, innovative and sustainable solutions, Metpack highlighted the intensifying efforts of the industry to position itself even more sustainably. With a constant commitment on innovation since 1923, Pneumofore is leading the way toward durable solutions for the industry’s most important energy-saving and sustainability challenges. The event represented a significant occasion to meet the most important canmakers, some of which are satisfied customers of Pneumofore Rotary Vane vacuum pumps and compressors since decades. Visitors expressed great interest in the company’s latest innovations and solutions, all based on the lowest Life Cycle Cost. With a century of pneumatic energy expertise, Pneumofore confirms itself as the benchmark for the supply of centralized vacuum and compressed air solutions in the can industry. Metpack organizers also honored the Pneumofore Anniversary with a pleasant and unexpected present: a special 100 Years celebration cake.
